Designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2010, the historic district of At-Turaif rises elegantly above Wadi Hanifah and the lush Diriyah oasis. Constructed from mudbrick in the traditional Najdi architectural style, this majestic citadel once served as the political and cultural hub of the Emirate of Diriyah, the First Saudi State (1727–1818), laying the foundation for the eventual formation of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
ATS carried out photogrammetric surveys and 3D modelling of all the assets comprising the archaeological site, producing the necessary documentation to represent the current state of the historical assets.
