The Stylite Tower of Umm Rasas is a distinctive vertical structure characterized by its simple yet robust masonry. Rising prominently from the surrounding landscape, the tower exemplifies early Christian architectural strategies for isolation and vertical emphasis, with minimal openings and a compact plan that reflects its function as a solitary devotional space.
The 3D survey, carried out with total station and optical sensors, was aimed at producing a digital twin of the monument, as well as 2D raster and vector drawings, for the purpose of condition assessment and the design of a tower stabilization system.
