For the Municipality of Asciano, a comprehensive project for cultural development and digital valorization was carried out, aimed at promoting the territory and its cultural heritage. The project included a planning phase that involved the entire municipality and resulted in the creation of a digital platform—a website designed as a thematic container and interactive reference point for accessing local heritage.
ATS was responsible for designing and implementing the the 3D modeling of culturally significant structures such as the Monastery of Monteoliveto, Etruscan tumuli, and selected archaeological finds preserved at the Archaeological Museum of Asciano. The data acquisition phase included photogrammetry with terrestrial cameras, drone photography, and laser scanning, enabling the production of highly accurate digital models. The modeling process resulted in the creation of immersive 3D models, accessible using augmented reality headsets, making the cultural heritage available in an innovative and engaging way.
