Altino was a Roman city located in the Venetian plain. During Roman times, it became an important commercial and strategic center thanks to its position along the Via Annia, which connected Adria to Aquileia, and its proximity to the Venetian lagoon.
ATS conducted extensive magnetometric surveys over an area of approximately 15 hectares. The geophysical investigations highlighted the topography of the ancient settlement.
