The ruins of the old city of Diriyah are located on both sides of the narrow valley known as Wadi Hanifa, which continues southward through Riyadh and beyond. Composed almost entirely of mud-brick structures, the ruins are divided into three districts: Ghussaibah, Al-Mulaybeed, and Turaif, situated on hills overlooking the valley. Part of the city walls, which follow the edges of the wadi and are also made of mud bricks, are still standing along with some tall observation towers.
ATS carried out photogrammetric surveys and 3D modeling of all the assets comprising the archaeological site, producing the necessary documentation to represent the current state of the historical assets.
